The inspiration behind the name.
Her name is Chloe and she's a 95 lb German Shepherd mix. She was adopted from the Oregon Humane Society the day after Thanksgiving in 2018; she was 3 months old. Before she was transferred to the OHS and adopted by her forever home, she was a stray on the streets of Fresno, CA.
Her fur is the color of onyx; hence the name being The Onyx Dog. She inspires me to be playful and appreciative of the little things in life.
Whenever I'm having a rough day, I know I can count on her to make me smile.
